We understand more every day the value of engaging art and nature to our health and well-being.  Art practices may alleviate symptoms in certain mental health conditions, and enhance positive coping skills among other benefits.  Activities that nurture connection and reciprocity with the natural world create space to enhance our daily lives, and to restore the environment we share.  Dr. Miller combines her expertise as a psychiatrist with her work as a botanical artist to guide you through simple, accessible practices that may be explored outside of formal of psychiatric treatment. 

Dr. Miller offers workshops and presentations on enhancing

relaxation, compassion, focus and mental clarity through botanical art and nature-based practices for community organizations, corporations and other groups.  Programs including nature journaling for connection, self-exploration through botanical art, and mindful observation in nature are available.  Or we may work together to customize a program specific to your interests.

90-Minute Virtual Presentation

This presentation offers an introduction to the potential health benefits of practices like mindfulness and meditation.   Participants will be introduced to simple, accessible ways art and nature may be engaged to apply these concepts in their daily lives.

Customize your experience

Dr. Miller offers customized programs from half-day workshops to week-long retreats customized for your organization's objectives.  Participants will be introduced to contemplative practice and learn how art and nature-based activities may be engaged to support living a healthful life.
